Almost any book can be ordered if out of stock.  Most books will take 3-5 days to get into the store during the first week of school and 7-10 business days thereafter.  There will be an occasional book that can't be reordered; check the note under price on the website.  We also have students getting refunds for the first week, so please keep checking back with us on the books we might be out of initially.  As soon as a refund occurs that book is immediately added back into our inventory.  There are a few books only available for reorder in store. Again, check note under price on website.


Pickup/Prepaid Books
What is a pickup or prepaid book?   Pickups and prepaid book =  are books we are out of stock and the student wants us to order.
The student will pay for a book to be ordered.  We will guarantee the book to be in stock in 3-5 business days during the first week of school, after the first week it can take 7-10 business days. Some books we can get in our store within 2 days.   If for some reason we are unable to order this book, a full refund will be given after 5 days. The only way a student can get a refund after paying for the books is if we are unable to find the book or the student can put the book back on our shelf for another student to rent and when it rents we will call you in for a refund. This last policy has worked quite well for our students in the past. Once a pickup is ordered by TRI there are no REFUNDS.  This book is a special order strictly for you. Please make sure you need this book before doing a pickup since there are NO refunds given.  If you do not come to pick up the book that we ordered for you there are still no refunds for rented books.  If you purchased the book that was on backorder we will only hold the item for the semester in which you bought it and if not picked up we will destroy it at the end of the semester.  If you have any questions please do not hestitate to ask our customer service representatives.

 Refunds are only given for dropped classes with proof or wrong books issued for the first three days of summer school and the first five days of spring/fall semesters.  Refund will NOT be given for books on backorder so please BE CERTAIN when these books are ordered that you do in fact need them.




For inventory purposes: If it shows "In stock" next to the price the book is here within our store. If it shows only a price a box will appear when you choose this and will explain our "Out of Stock" process.  Please be very careful when choosing these books.  Please email us if you have any questions.


We now have a waiting list if you prefer not to prepay for a book.  When you see a book that is "Available to Order" click the box as if you are purchasing it and ask your cashier once you are about to pay to be put on the waiting list for that particular book.  This can only be done in the store!! Once the book becomes available you will receive an email stating that there is inventory in our store.
